Main ideas: Both buildings are hospitality ones, each with a sea view. The facades are aesthetically quite different but with a similar approach in design. In the first project l will showcase how we managed to design a building in a steep area satisfying the need for privacy for each hotel client without damaging the quality of the sea view.  Also, how the facade form gives protection from excessive sunlight in the summer. In the second project, how the same needs were met using different materials and form.

Design and Building on the periphery of Europe has always been a challenge. Our understanding of available tools and knowledge in order to achieve good architecture and space has been crucial. Within this quest we have developed a system of details and tools that drive our practice. 
I am a practicing architect. I was trained, we have all been trained to design and eventually build, especially my generation. But my path in architecture has led me in different directions from which I always go back to design. Research and education have been crucial on this way.
